Tino Tino Tino

Went to the doctor on the 13th.
Was going back and forth over changing doctors due to an insurance issue
....but we are going to stick with him.
It's a little late to change, plus I like him.
AND he's Italian....which means something to my grandmother! LOL
Well, I finaly got on the scale (since the honeymoon)
They force you to do that at the doctors!!!
And my eyes bugged out of my head...the nurse's did too!
9 pounds in one month! OMG!

The doctor says it's because it's been 100 degrees and I'm retaining a bit of water. *shrug*
I guess if he says so!

He says I'm in line to gain about 35 by the time it's all done. sheesh!
Other than that, everything is fine. He said the ultrasound says my due date is about 10/1,
but he's still not officially changing the 10/7 due date just yet.
He asked me if I feel her moving
.....I said...uhhh YEA, ALL THE TIME! She's a gymnast!
He said 'what time of the day?'
I said, 'all day!'
He said 'Well, you think she's active now, wait till she comes out! Get some rest!!!'

That night I was laying on the couch watching TV, and I picked my shirt up, and Mike could actually SEE her kicking me through my skin!

lol Pretty cool!

Oh yea, and last night Mike was explaining to her about the Yankees
and she kicked me as soon as Mike mentioned Tino Martinez!
She's a fan! Just like her parents!

Honeymoon is Over!

Back from the honeymoon.
We are both tan and relaxed, and had a great time!
Don't want to go back to work though =o(
So....btw...we decided that little Althea (or Allie if you prefer) is going to be a gymnast!
OMG she is constantly doing flips in there.
She never sleeps!
I didn't think that I needed to worry about her not sleeping till October,
but she's ALREADY keeping me awake!
Next doctor appointment is June 13th.
And I'm 5 months now.
Last time I went to the doctor for my ultrasound,
she said that the baby was 14 oz already!
The norm is around 9.5oz.....so our little girl is growing FAST!
She said that she might have gone through a early growth spurt, and not to worry.
But with me being around 9 lbs, and my father being 10 lbs,
I say.....I can worry now!!! LOL
