Week Three!!

She just gets cuter and cuter!!
Well, she's still a good baby....*knocks on wood* ...so far
Her cry got a bit louder, and her "poopy"...
(yes I used the word "poopy") ...got a little smellier.
But we wont complain...cause we just love her to death!
She's atarting to smile and giggle at us, and it's jus the cutest thing we ever saw!
Her daddy comes home from work and can't wait to get his hands on his litle girl
...and already she can't wait to see him.
We are starting to settle into a bit of a schedual...but we are still working on it.
I'm getting a little stir crazy in the house...but the doctor said no bringing
her to a public place for 8 weeks, becuase of flu season. *sigh*
Of course 8 weeks is when I go back to work =Anyway, I know you all just want to see pictures...=o)
so here you go...

One week Old!!

I can't believe she is already a whole week old!
Well I've been home for 3 1/2 days and everyone is starting to settle in.
Every day things are changing as we all try and find our groove.
Mike and I really haven't slept that much, wich is to be expected...but we really can't complain.
She is a really good baby!
She mostly only cries when she is hungry or dirty or wants a change of atmosphere.
It's just our job to decide which one of those is the thing. LOL
She is so strong!
I can't believe the way she holds up her head and moves it around already.
When I give her a bottle she wants to help me hold it.
When I put her on my shoulder to burp her she puts her hands down and picks her whole body up. Like she's ready to crawl! LOL
I keep telling her that she's not supposed to do ANY of that for a couple of months yet
....but she's stubborn like her mommy. =o)
She is also so alert.
She constantly has her eyes wide open looking around.
She loves to stare at her daddy while he sings to her.
And whenever I talk her eyes follow in my direction.
It's so cool! She just stares at both of us and we just stare back in amazment!
ok, well she is getting up from her nap...so I figured I'd give you all a ONE WEEK update.
And some pictures....

They'll win next year...cause I'LL be a fan!!

T - Minus 6 hours!!!

So today is the day.
I go into the hospital at 3pm,
and have my c-section set for 5pm.
By the end of the day I will be someone's mommy!!
It's so wierd to have an appointment to do this,
AND for it to be so late in the day!
This is going to be the longest day of my life I think!!!
I've been planning for a vaginal birth this whole time,
I'm not sure I know what to expect!
Well, I'm sure it will be fine..
I'll be in the hospital till Tuesday I think...
so I'll tell you all about it then....

Did you pay off the doctor?!?!

I know I haven't updated the site in a while.
There has been no news to report till now...and to be honest
I've been a little discouraged!!
Soooooooo anyway I went to the Doctor on Tuesday
......and I have NEWS, finally!!
There is an end in sight! We took the stress test....
which means they hook meup to a fetal monitor,
and every time she moves I click a button.
Then they compare where I clicked to the heart rate.
She passed with flying colors....in fact she actually had a bout of hicupps
during the test wich was kinda funny to watch on the monitor.
Then we did the ultrasound, she's head down,
like she has been for months now....but still way high up
(like the doctor said). She (the ultrasound tech) said I have plenty of fluid,
but that I don't look like I'm delivering any time soon.
The chunker is weighing in at 8lbs 13oz!!!
The doctor then did another internal,
and said she is sooo far up that he can't even reach her.
So we talked to the doctor and the doctor thinks that maybe
she hasn't dropped into the canal due to her size and my size....
and that since she is so high up she may still take a while to come.
He also said since she is soo big, that if we leave her in there any
longer she's gonna hit 9lbs no problem.
He said he doesn't think it's pysically possible for me to deliver a 9lbs baby.
And also cause she's so high up, if he induces me he thinks that
I'll have labor all day and then end up with a c-section anyway.
Soooooooooooooo.......
he is schedualling me for an appointment c-section for Friday afternoon!
I have to be there at 3:30!
So unless she decides within the next day or two to make some major changes
.....he's goin to get her on Friday!
So it looks like it'll be Friday!
Which, BTW is my Mother's Birthday. LOL
I asked her....sooo how much did you pay him to pick that day?!?!?!?
